Pastillage existed even before other commercial sugar pastes gained prominence. In common parlance it is a sugar paste that feels like gum which can easily be moulded into different forms and shapes. Once it dries, it becomes hard and brittle. It is in fact the most reliable when it comes to extremely strong edible cake toppers and centerpieces.

Chef Serdar Yener

Chef Serdar Yener boasts of 40 years of experience in cake decoration. He has worked in multiple 5 star chains across the globe and has competed in various international gourmet competitions. He was awarded the Best Pastry Artist in 1987 in Switzerland and Best Pastry Chef in 1990 in Singapore, Food Asia. His pastillage pieces have been displayed as sugar centerpieces in France, Switzerland and Singapore museums.
